The following leading family governance experts will be facilitating the program:


Barbara Dartt

Barb is a principal consultant with more than 20 years’ experience helping individuals and family groups grapple with the joys and challenges that are a natural part of families owning and managing businesses together. At FBCG, Barb helps families get aligned, anticipate and prevent future challenges, and communicate effectively to grow their businesses.

She does this work for the thrill of seeing the talents of individual family members get recognized and harnessed to contribute to the health of their families and businesses. She is the co-author of Own It:  How to Develop a Family Enterprise Owner's Mindset at Every Age which will be released in the summer of 2022.


Jeremy S. Lurey

Jeremy is a consultant with The Family Business Consulting Group passionate about helping established families transition their businesses and transfer their wealth to the next generation. With 25 years of progressive experience as a consultant, Jeremy is a trusted family advisor and business coach who guides his clients in identifying what matters most in their lives and then taking the necessary actions to achieve those personal and professional goals.

Jeremy has expertise in supporting family offices and family businesses with the critical leadership and governance practices required to create more sustainable futures. From strategic planning to succession planning, he excels at supporting baby boomers transitioning into retirement and their next-gen successors accepting increased business and personal responsibilities. Jeremy regularly facilitates family forums and retreats, prepares family charters, and provides family counseling and coaching.
